This was a damn hot story! I did not see that comming. At first I thought it would a funny story about him losing his glove in an awkward weird way, and then BAM! Julianne came to the spot. I really liked it! ;)
Michael used to wear one glove during the Triumph Tour in 1981. He said that wearing two gloves looked too ordinary to him, and one glove was cooler. It had a mystery, ya know. But the glove didn't become popular until the Motown 25 show. At least, this is what I read in Michael's book Moonwalk.

Wow, I didn't know he wore it before the motown 25 show! I thought that was the first time *omg bad fan for not knowing this sorry Michael* I did read Moonwalk, but it was a while ago, so I don't remember very well haha. I'm glad he wore only one though, it was indeed very different and so cool!

Ooh I love this!!!! And as far as the glove.. I've heard many different reasons but I think one of em may be because of the vitiligo beginning to show on his hand, which is why he wore the one glove. Another rumor was he dropped the other in the toilet. Lol. Who knows? Either way, the man was genius and the worlds greatest entertainer. Can't wait to read more of your short stories though dahling!

Oh man, I would die laughing if it was because he dropped a glove in the toilet. Hahaha! Imagine that: King of pop drops his glove in the toilet before a show, so he goes onstage with just one glove lol! I always wondered if he wore only one because he wanted to stand out, or if inconvenient circumstances led him to it haha

I heard the reason why he wore the one glove is because His Vitiligo started appearing on his hand. And so to hide it, he wore the one glove. I don't think he knew or even realized the impact it would have on his career. But anyway naughty story. I liked it. Nice spin to the reason behind the one glove, lol

Yeah, I figured that was why, like the finger tape right? And in a way, he was kind of lucky to have vitiligo, because it triggered a lot of his iconic costumes. And thank you :) xoxo
