OMG I feel like it’s just getting sadder and sadder and worse for Layla on an emotional scale. Her body seems to be recovering but she’s still having a super hard time trying to like, I don’t even know...is there really a way to fully overcome a miscarriage? Michael seems to think so and I know he mentioned a “new baby” which Layla clearly is not thinking about at ALL, but he’s just trying to keep optimistic and I can totally understand Layla’s lashing out at Michael for saying that. He’s just trying to help, honestly. But he can only do that if Layla wants to be helped.
That speech she gave about herself was heart-wrenching she shouldn’t feel like that and I’m glad Michael is convincing her otherwise. Love how he’s thinking about the idea of marrying Layla and she seems kinda suspicious about it right now but come on who wouldn’t wanna marry him lmao XD NOT MEEE SEND HIM MY WAY BABY
I think Flora and Brownie are the only things in this chapter that made me smile. It’s so sad I really want things to turn around wherever possible. Great chapter dear xoxoxox

Oh man. This whole thing was seriously really sad. Layla in a catatonic-like stage because of the sedatives was really upsetting. And then when they wore off she was totally like erratic and blaming herself and she shouldn’t have, fr. And then Michael blames himself too but he wasn’t even there when it happened and that’s out of his control! God it was legit nobody’s fault she lost the baby. I really hope they work from it but it’s good to see Layla and Michael taking care of one another while they are both grieving. Soooo sad man
Hope the burial will help them try to like move on from it and stuff

I CAN RELATE THO I mean you know my upcoming plans for my story😂 we tend to take total advantage of the fact that we can let any and everything happen - even terrible things that we wouldn’t want to happen to us IRL. But that’s the beauty of imagination and writing I suppose.
I wish Michael wasn’t stuck at work so he can be with his girl when she needs him the most. Four hours seems long lol. At least Janet is looking after her and I know Layla will get better with both Janet and Michael’s help. Hopefully they can try again soon...seems like Layla really wanted this baby. :(
