I have always been interested in stories about Michael being a family man, expecially relationship between him and his children. Therefore, this one immedately caught my eyes.
Although I like reading romance stories very much, sometimes I just need a fresh air, you know? And I believe this one can bring to me what I look for.
So thank you. I am looking forward to reading more.
By the way, I did not have tears in my eyes, but I truly cried when I was reading the scene Michael lost his beloved wife. Although I haven't read "Blinded By Love", I have to say you've already done a great job with "Blinded By Heartache". Because as a reader who do not know about characters' past, I was not confused nor clueless at all. That just showed your abilities and writing skills. I believe other readers like me can still catch up with this story pretty well. So just saying, you are so damn good :)).
Oh, and the part Michael said he was jealous with a teddy bear was so funny :)), "that damn stuffed bear" LOL.

Thank you. I tried to make it a stand along story so even if someone hadn't read the previous story they could still understand the plot. I guess it worked. I know this will be different and some may not like it because the lack of romance at first but it's a risk I'm going to take. I've wanted to write this for quite some time. Thanks for reading. Hopefully I won't disappoint.

The beginning is so bad. My eyes was tearing up. They are so heartbroken from the lost of Megan. It's turning them against each other. Hopefully the idea of finishing Megan's bucket list be hopeful for them. Gabby needs her father and Michael needs his daughter. They need to get though this time together and heal together.
I really like it so far. I'm living the direction you are going. Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Very sad, that Michael,lost the Love of his life and in the process I'd losing his daughter!
Hopefully the list Micharl found will help Gabby abandon Michael heal and become the loving father and daughter they once were!

Tink You are a very talented writer. Still wiping my tears after that flashback. I know this has to be killing Michael that his own baby gurl, his princess treats him like a stranger. When he always loved children and the same can be seen in many footage out there how kids gravitate towards him and are so loving to Michael.
I do believe Gab's is acting out. Maybe she feels she lost him too. Maybe during a time where he was losing himself to the liquid amber as he describes to numb the pain, Gabby came to him for comfort and Michael wasn't there. For what I seen Michael is a man who wears his emotions on his sleeve, he loves whole heartily and when in pain I guess is just as strong.
I hope this sweet idea works for him and Gabby they only have each other and in case it doesn't work he should listen to Ben about seeing a therapist.
As far as that Sam kid just the brief description he sounds like a major douche bag and Ahole. Gab's you deserve better. Please update soon.
