Glad I came around to this book. After like the 7th chapter I was like team Michael and Kenya lol. I just see their friendship and confiding in each other turning into a romance much needed and meant to be. Kenya got involved in a world wind of a case that put her in an unpredictable circumstance ( going to London with Michael for rehab and she’d just got on the team lol).. But she handled the situation and its environment.. Instead of being starstruck by who he is or so gong ho about the case where it reminds him of the constant bad.. She just treated him like Michael, the human being who deserves human experience despite anything.. UGHH COME BACK ????

I am a billion years late, but I cannot begin to describe how much I love this story! I feel so late - I wish I'd been here to cheer you on nearly a year ago when you needed it, because, girl, you are amazing. Absolutely fantastic. The progress of Michael an Kenya's relationship is so natural and easygoing. I just love it. I doubt you're here anymore because hardly anyone else is, but I sincerely hope that you haven't quit writing for good -whether its this or not. You have a gift that shouldn't go to waste!

So glad you continued with this story. It has become a favorite of mine. I'm really loving the way the relationship/friendship with Michael and Kenya is unfolding .Not too pumped on Michael trying to pursue anything with Lisa Marie. I don't think she is what he needs in a woman. I don't see her keeping him happy for life. Maybe for a fling but that is it. Michael needs Kenya maybe a bit more than what he sees right bow. Anyway that's a bit of my two-cents. I would love an update. I need my fix lol.

I adore how he asked for Kenya to be the woman felt most comfortable to be in his time of need. Feelings are developing slowly for one another but both seem to fine with how their relationship is now.

*scrambles here to the reviews and screams* I finally, finally, finally got a rock of homework off my back and I used the time to read this new chapter and I gotta say I’m super happy you went ahead and posted this even if you didn’t feel like it! I absolutely adore the slow progression of friendship between Michael and Kenya and it’s just... it’s just so sweet :’). The ending dialogue between them solidifying that they are comfortable when they are in each other’s prescence alone it’s just... gah, it’s great.
I’m not gonna give you an essay and crap because that’s just annoying for everyone, and I do that enough but them in a tree and the tranquility and stuff... just fucking kill me just do it.. I loved it. I couldn’t stop hearing that childish sitting on a tree kissing rhyme. I’m shaking in my boots.

I’m so thankful for Kenya being there in the time he needed her most. He doesn’t fully realize it but he needs her and we know it. And Kenya needs to stop leading Donovan on because they will get herself into a pickle if she goes on those dates with him.
