I think Michael was suggesting she work for him so they could spend even more time together. That and it would be beneficial for MJ. But knowing the situation with her last boss I understand why she so aggressively declined it.
I do think she's jumping the gun just a bit. Especially since her and Levi have not hashed anything out about MJ.
With the complete truth not yet on the table on Gabby's behalf promises of any kind in the long term are a bit fleeting. We will see. I'm excited cause we're getting to the new stuff soon!!

They do have a lot in common. Both where " the other man/woman" so they neither can judge but come from a place of understanding that love makes you do things that may not be right.

She has her reasons yes... But at the same time with that heartfelt declaration she should be honest with him. MJ has a father, one that doesn't want to be in his life and Michael would understand that and play the same roll. What happens when Levi pops up all of a sudden and wants in? What would break Michael's heart more. Her letting him know what to prepare for ahead of time or the sudden intrusion of a man claiming to be MJ's dad and it turning out to be true?
It will devastate Michael even more her not telling him. Her reasons are selfish. Not for Michael's or MJ's sake, for herself alone.

I agree, She is being very selfish by not telling him. And I honestly feel sorry for Michael. I do think if she's honest, it will save them both a lot of heartache.. Let's just hope she does.

She's going to have to tell him the truth eventually. I don't think he would turn his back on her especially MJ after the promise he made to be there for them but the longer she keeps it from him it might make him lose his trust in her.

I agree, the longer she waits, it'll eventually cause trust issues. And we know how Michael is about trusting people. And she's only digging herself into a deeper hole the longer she waits.
