Jesus. It went from sad to professions of love then we jump forward into slow murder. Yikes. So how long has this injecting been going on?!?! If it was as bad as Nic described how did he not notice it when he was intimate with January? The smell of infection is very distinctive no matter how clean you get. The time line you have shows only a months worth of time differential. Is both parts taking place in the same year? Cause from July 21 to August 21 of the same year the deterioration and smell would have already been evident.
I feel so bad for poor Michael. I wonder if someone hired his fiancé to do this to him. (A stretch I know lol)
I just want to pound Tony's ass into the ground. Talk about insensitive UGH!!!
One thing that gets me though is the fact Nic keeps refering to things and facts in the case as "wierd". He's a mental health professional why would any of it be wierd or baffling. Even if DID was not in his scope of study he had to have still learned about it in Med school.

well remember that infection doesn't take very long to develop. the infection could be recent, but the injections could have been going on for a very long time. Also, remember that Nic mentions previously the January did stop talking to him. This is all happening in the same year. there was actually one thing that did change between July 21st and August 21st.I promise it will all make sense! ;-)

I keep wondering, how on earth did you come up with this intricately layered story?? It must have taken a lot of planning out, the way its structured is wonderful.

What an unusual twist! I'm very curious as to where you are going with this. Subclinical seizures couldn't account for the personality changes as you've described them, so I'm assumming this is another layer of pathology?

well you're right that the seizures do not count for the personality changes. :-) they are connected however. Let's just say that Michael is definitely not an epileptic. non epileptic seizures are most commonly associated with mental and emotional health problems. in a certain sort of backwards way, you can almost think of the seizure at a separate alter.
one of the fun things about writing this particular character has been that even the alter egos has psychological problems. Michael suffers from anxiety and depression, as well as body image issues and severe unaddressed grief. January is manic, hyper sexual, aggressive, and has what would probably be a variety of conversion disorder.
there is also a physical problem going on here that they haven't found yet. the important piece here is actually not so much the seizure as it is the crazy spike in blood pressure that happened right before.

Another thing that deserves attention is that situations like being undressed at the dr's, sleeping in the same bed as Eve and being asked to sit on the bed by naked and half-naked men causes a very fearful reaction in Michael. Pretty alarming. “No!” He jumped back from the bed. “No I didn't do anything! I don't... please! I just want to go home!” Wth.
The seizure at the end?? Omg. The hospital's gonna be interesting.

Hmmmh, I wonder what's going to happen next, I mean, the lights are going to go out as they go to sleep, right? Is January going to come back? Also I think I know why Michael doesn't want to be home with Eve (other than the fact that she's a complete bitch lol); he's a different persona in the dark and God knows what Eve thinks of that. You know, this January thing had me thinking; is this persona just a subconcious way of dealing with being gay? Honestly, I don't know anything about psychiatry, but it's just a theory of mine.

And how in the tarnation did Michael end up on Mic's door step alone at that?
My thoughts still lay with Peter being the dominant. His age might signify when he first had to come out to protect Michael assuming in this story that's when his significant abuse started. I'm also thinking that Michael's fiancé is actually with one of the other personalies. Unknowingly of course. As for January being a full on virgin, I'm going to bargin and say that fact pertains to him and not Michael himself. Figuring this out all out is exciting. Leave the unprofessional behaviour to me Sam!! You do your job. I got this. Lmao.
