Wow. It really happened. Lol. It was really sweet. I'm glad he made it something special for her.
I can't believe Tasha. She's being supremely naive. The fact that she acknowledges James behaviour to be suspect but still insists on pushing Michael into the lions den is troubling. Are all the contacts James MIGHT have and MIGHT be willing to recommend Michael to more important than keeping Michael's best interests at heart? I think it's either poor judgment or just blatantly turning a blind eye to possible foul play.
I hope she's ready to shoulder the responsibility when the shit hits the fan for forcing Michael to take that job back.

Yesss, it happened. I felt she needed a good memorable first time... after all the stuff she was battling with (James, Lonnie, ect).
Like I told HoneyToTheBee when you're close to someone its really hard to see them doing wrong. She suspects it but for right now she's over looking it. We'll just have to see what her overlooking James actions will get her... and even Michael.

Yay!!! They finally did it!! And awwwww how sweet was it of Michael to buy a new bed set and candles... He can be such a sweetheart when he wants to be.

Mike is going to be on the verge with James for a while. Tasha can't see it because she only knows what she's told. She doesn't know the full story yet and James is a clos friend.. some people have a really hard time seeing people they've known for a long time and care about do bad. It's like they never expect it from them.

I like the extra touch of realism you added by mentioning Semaj's grades. I can't believe they send home interim report cards so often now. Overkill.

Grades: And I added it just for that purpose and girl yes. When my Junior year started in August last year, we weren't in school for a good month before they were sending out interims, but my school has a different system. Unlike other high schools in my district my school is considered a STEM school so we only have 4 classes per semester verses other high schools who have 7 or 8 periods in one semester. It's good and bad... good because you can get your credits faster.. bad because you're sitting in math class for 90 minutes.
-- I'll let off a little slack for Mike, but I think in the new chapter it'll be a total of 10.

They are so going to get interrupted. Even though they locked the door Lina is going to pop up with those fries and get an eyeful through the window. Or she's going to be knocking on the door as soon as they start to bang and kill the mood.
Semaj should tell Mike he has the green light, but I hope he has the sense to reschedule. Make her dinner, light some candles and turn on some Barry White at a time when they aren't expecting visitors. Cause I know as soon as he finds out shes ready he will make it happen ASAP. Hell, he will probably plan something for the same night.
I can't wait until they do it. He's already sprung, add pussy-whipped to the equation and he will be beyond adorable.
