First I'm going to start with that puppy running circles around my damn heart. She's ADORABLE!!
Now to the madness. James is suffering from serious psycosis and it's clear at this point his concern is most definitely not keeping Semaj safe. Like she said it's the loss of control that's gearing him up to be sent off to the mad house. Like chill son. What did he expect? To have his children under his thumb their entire life. That's irrational at best. Then he slaps her? I would have gone off too. Not cool. Also him asking her if she's 'fucking' Michael that was a bit off. An inappropriate way to ask. That's the way a cheated lover asks their mate not how a father asked his daughter. I had to grab my pearls for a minute. I'm glad Janelle kicked his ass out to get his shit together. Yeaaah, I apologize, ahaha. That sentence did come out weird but at least you all got what I was trying to get across. James did cross a major line by asking about her personal life and also slapping her. That was obviously enough to push Janelle over the edge. Hopefully since we're pretty much about to near the end of this story that things will get better.
Michael is just confused because he's used to the "hoodrat" girls who go in on him for even looking at another girl. He was shocked that Semaj didn't raise hell, haha.
I give you the power of to have the mojo to pump out some long chapters. I declare it! Haha, no but really. Find some of your best music and jam out too it. Before you know it you'll bust out a 4,000+ word chapter. Swear.

James - honestly? Given his anger and the ultimatum, I wouldn't be surprised if he went out to drink and ends up doing something stupid...like earning a DUI and finding himself in drug/alcohol counseling and anger management (b/c you know he'd mouth off to an officer). For him to truly be nice to Michael, I think it would take a few months, at the soonest. I could be wrong.
