Oh lord I can already see exactly where this is going. He's going to end up sleeping with Diana in New York, isn't he? She seems to have some kind of hold on him and he's not man enough to tell her off and actually claim his family. Fuck if you go that route please teleport a character into the story named 'Camille' to cut off his dick.
I hope I'm wrong. I would hate to see him destroy such a beautiful relationship. Plus as a reader I hold grudges, I would end up hating him for the rest of the story if he did that irregardless of how he makes up for it later.
On a side note, Jayden is a bit too insecure. She needs an identity of her own besides being Michael's woman and baby mamma. If she had more confidence she could have gone into that party like she owned the place instead of cowering in a corner watching another woman all over her man and doing nothing about it. Although most of the blame is still on Michael.
Good story so far! Can't wait to see what happens. I hope Michael grows a pair.

I never really thought about that thing with Jayden, interesting that you mentioned it. I never thought about her that way...insecure. But I guess you'll see more of her chracter as the story continues! :)

Michael needs to step up, actions speak louder then words.
I don't think he means to let Diana do what she does to him but in real life too she always had some power over him. She liked to use it against him too, I'm hoping here he gets his head out of his ass and stops letting Diana run him.
They need to work this out and stay together! Love this story so much! xoxo
