I just finished reading this. It was a really awesome story even though it ended so sadly. Some of it was hard to read.I lost my stepdad 4 years ago because he mixed oxycodone and alcohol. He hid it from us. I knew he had a problem with alcohol though. Despite that it I really enjoyed reading it.

I know it was part of you plan, but it just doesn't seem right to have Mandy die when everything was going for them. And, because they had already made it through sooo many things that were bad already. It just isn't fair to Michael and the children, but it's not fair to CJ as well as Mandy's family. I mean, CJ will never know his mother and even though Michael will tell him all about her as he gets older, it's just not the same as having his mother.
