My heart is breaking. Michael is struggling with what looks like to be addiction and Ki doesn't know it. And that's added on to guilt from other things like the fact that he feels bad he can't give her the normalcy he thinks she deserves. And he's so insecure. I just feel so sad. He needs a lot of love and reassurance because he's so vulnerable.

Yeah. Michael is using. All the signs are there. I really don't even know what else to say. I love this couple to death but Michael is not being honest about what's going on. He is on something. Everything is neat and in its place because he is fighting tooth and nail to hide it. He's feeling guilty too. Keisha is intuitive and knows some shit ain't right. I know men who haven't had sex in awhile usually come fast so I won't read too much into that. But I certainly wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the side effects from the drugs he's taking. He's losing weight, not much of an appetite, and not sleeping? Yes honey he's using. I just hope when Ki finds the pills she won't be too hard on him. He needs help. Real help.

Oh their children are such darlings! And they would look beautiful in real life, I bet. What with both Michael and Keisha's genes and all... such that sight they would be!
And I see that communication is still a problem for these two... The problem will be brought up but nothing seems to be resolved. They just leave it that with both just mulling over their thoughts and feelings. Sigh and I don't know what's going on with Mike... maybe he's just stressed out in tryng to divide his time between work and family. I mean, he did say he has all this ideas that he wants to get out but he also has his wife and kids to spend time with and we all know how much time Michael devotes his time to his craft. Or is it something deeper?

Hello, so i've been reading this story along with your other peices for awhile now and I just have to say....your writing style is absolutely amazing, I love it. You are so very gifted in the way you portray the characters...the love Michael and Keisha have for each other holds so much passion, I feel it! You are my favorite author up here, and this is my favorite story up here. In the words of Fifty Shades of Grey, the "kinky f*ckery" is absolutely mind blowing because it's not just sex, it's love, love, love.... The way you portrayed Michael and the unconditional love he has for Keisha is what I (and others) want to find in a man :) Anyway, thank you so much for updating and sharing your gift with us!

Hey! Thank you SO much for the kind words. I was on the verge of not continuing, because I don't really look at numbers, and I didn't think anyone was reading, or anyone cared. But it's comments like this that keep me motivated to keep writing! I wrote this to be a fairy tale because I was tired of reading (and writing) fucked up psychological things with weird plot twists and I just wanted to write something cute and sweet...the kind of love that I wish Michael would have really had. The kind that he deserved, I think.

I can never say this enough but your writing is impeccable! Poetry and so much soul... you can feel the love these two have for each other. I can imagine these two being that old couple you see walking around acting like lovesick teenagers... as if their love was still brand new... and all you can do is look on and sigh wishing that you can find a love so great as that. Yeap, you've definitely done a great job at developing these characters and their relationship.
As for this chapter, I only have one word to say. DAAAYYYUUUMMM. I can't get enough that's for sure. And aww... Ki is ready for another baby? Let's just hope they'll both be ready mentally when it comes to adding another addition to the family.
As for the ending, I am absolutely dreading it but I know you'll have other gems to share with us. :)

Thanks for the response, Hazel! I wanted to write something that wasn't completely devoid of soul, and I hope I did that. I want readers to actually CARE about this union, at least enough to the point where they felt that if the REAL Michael would have had someone like this, things may have turned out a lot differently. Or perhaps not ;-)
As for Mike and Ki, I think enough years have passed at this point where Keisha is no longer fearful of being "THAT GIRL," and that Keisha is trusting enough to not let something like another child come in and upset the balance.
...And the ending. It's a long way off just yet...but I have it. And I think it's spectacular and does the couple justice.
Don't know what I'm gonna do next. Perhaps get back to work on "I Was Made To Love Her" or start on a new modern re-write of an old Mike/Taj triangle story called "Family Values". Haven't decided yet. I might throw Keisha back into that one, but I don't want people to tire of her character. I never get tired of writing for her, though. She's my central heroine!! LOL

"And they twain shall be one flesh" Perfect example! Love this chapter. It's soulish, spiritual and the example of a true union. I'm almost afraid of what the next chapter brings. But whatever happens it would be a shame if Michael and Keisha's union cannot last through turbulence.

Absolutely! That's what I was going for! As for the direction the story is headed in, I don't think I've ever upset their balance in such a way where things couldn't be resolved in a simple way. Forgiveness is one of THOSE things that requires a lot of maturity and strength and...well, I guess we'll see won't we? ;-)

Lawd hammercy.. Their sex life is absolutely enviable!!!!! It's more than sex, chile it's the uniting of their souls. Their spirits become intertwined. I just live. The love they have for one another is beyond beautiful. I just love it. And I am quite surprised that Ki wants to have another baby already. These two are soulmates if I've ever seen em. It's refreshing to read a story where MJ has what he wanted in life...love and family. No relationship is perfect but Mike and Keisha are great together. I can't wait to see how these two weather the storm.

Thank you!!! I just wanted to write a "fairy tale" in a sense. I've been doing this since the KOP was on ezboard (this story is actually a rewrite of a story I wrote 14 years ago), and I didn't want any deep psychological twists of weird endings. Maybe next go round. LOL.
I'm still working on the chapter and what direction I want to go in with it...hahaha.

Chile I know better than to ever get my hopes up about anything pertaining to what you write chile. Lol I know a shitstorm is brewing. Keisha talks a good game and seems to be able to admit she was wrong here, but let's see if she actually puts that into practice. Michael is about to have a lot going on and I wonder is she going to be his backbone the way he needs her to be. She needs to shift her focus on her husband and kids, and less off Roxy and everybody else's problems. I do feel she was being a bit selfish in that regard. Anyway, as far as sex.. I mean we all love the sexual chemistry between Mike and Keisha and we like to see it, but as long as it's still present in the story, it's fine. I wouldn't want it to ever go away completely.

LOL...you said a mouthful there. I'm sitting here with a blank page like, "WTF amd I gonna do?" haha. I think Keisha struggles to find the balance in her life, like any other woman. She gives too much to Mike and the Kids, her friends start to feel neglected. She gives too much to her friends, and Michael feels neglected. Balancing a full life is hard, and I really think Keisha calls into question the concept of, "Having it all." Can you REALLY have it all?
