Intense beautiful chapter! Things started all sweet and romantic in the morning...them being all lovey dovey. Then all hell freezes over by the afternoon! Ughh i knew these allegations were coming.
But what in the ham sandwich is up with her not being able to get in? She is his wife, people. Keisha was about to flip I know but she kept her cool like the collective lady that she is. But that is some bull that the family has dibs to know what's going on, and Keisha doesn't. They are shady. At least Michael gave her that secretive message though.
This was great as usual. I'm so happy and thankful that you have graced us with another chapter :)

This story is so real. You're characters are so defined and human. They're like living breathing beings with so much depth and personality. I feel like I know them.
Michael and Keisha's relationship is soooooo crazy realistic and beautiful. I love their dedication to each other.

You have no idea how happy and excited I got when I saw that this wonderful story was updated! I will admit that I check everyday to see if it's updated lol. I'm so glad that you have a new computer so that you can continue to share your mind-boggling talent with us. I've said this before but I'll say it again. Ok so the relationship these two have is...so fgdjtdhtdufiyfuggyftdyfyf beautiful :) Keisha's character is so reeeeaaaal. Her feeling like she needs to be everything for her man...feeling like she needs to take his pain away, and he thinks he has got everything under control...ugh I don't think so. I know they'll be able to make it through though. I feel like their relationship is too strong. I can't wait for more!

Thank you! I was worried that it would be too sappy and too happy initially, but I really wanted to write a fairytale. In a way, I guess...I gave Mike what he might have wanted and/or needed in real life in order to be happy...

I don't care what Michael says. He does not have this "thing" under control they way he wants. Keisha loves him so much but she better get a grip on this "thing". I'm sure she will real soon.

Lawddd... I just hope these two will weather whatever storm that tries to come for them. I see so many different things going on. Keisha doesn't need to get pregnant right now. And I'm not convinced that Michael's dependency is as controlled as he says or thinks it is. I just need these two to stay down, just like the Mary j BLIGE song says. Keisha is putting herself through the ringer because Michael is putting himself through it. They are each other's anchor. When one slips, the other does too. They have to hold it down! Just one day at a time. I feel overwhelmed even thinking about their future. They just need to take everything one day at a time.

Finally Keisha knows exactly what he's doing. He may honestly believe he has a handle on this but he does not. He needs professional help and a strong woman to love him through this. I believe Michael created this distance between him and his family because he doesn't want them to know. Some of them anyway especially Katherine. If Katherine was around him more even talking to him on the phone she would know something's up with her son.
That last line "save me from myself" breaks my heart...

The breakthrough I've been waiting for. I knew Ki would find out eventually. Completely brilliant how this was laid out too. I knew it. I'm afraid though because Mike is indenial. He is developing a problem, and it's clearly starting to slip from his air right control. The control he thought he had. That's why it's taking it's toll on his body. He has to stop. He has a wife and children.. The two things he has always wanted. And if he doesn't shape up, he's gonna lose them. And I don't wanna see that happen because I absolutely adore them as a couple. But Ki can't do this alone.. He's gotta help her help him, which means he has to help HIMSELF first. That shit is breaking him down. And chile you know it's a mess if he's not even speaking to his mother. I know he claims he's upset about the whole Jermaine thing, but I suspect it's deeper than that. He knows that the second he gets around Katherine, she's going to know what's going on with him. She's an olschool mama, and she knows what's going on with her kids.. Especially Michael. I think he's ashamed. He's ashamed, he's guilty, and I think he's making himself a glutton for punishment. Keisha loves his dirty draws, but he has to be secure enough to believe that. Regardless if he's MJ the superstar or just the husband and daddy, he needs to realize that she's not going anywhere.. Unless he gives her a real reason to.
bottom line, he needs to get help for this addiction. I don't care what he says. Nobody has that power but him. Ki can't make him do it, he has to want to and commit to it. C'mon Michael, you can do it!!!!

It' s a must that Keisha play her cards right on this one. Cause hunty when the man you love shuts down on you...it's the worst thing ever! There are times when silence is power. She's smart so I'm sure she'll have her ducks in a row when she does approach him. I hope she is capable of giving him the love, tough love and support that he needs to help him overcome his issues when the truth comes to light. I don't agree with Aubrey here - there's obviously something going with Mike so why as a wife should Keisha sweep it under the rug and just hope for the best? That is her husband and she needs to confront him on it because it's affecting his behavior. If he gets upset then so be it, he'll just have to deal. He's being way too cryptic and sending all kinds of red flags. Keisha better get it together and find out what's going on.

But how do you confront a person whose normal defense mechanism is to shut down and or deflect the situation without ruining your relationship? I think that's Aubrey's point. Don't go in without definitive undeniable proof so that he can't run.
