I can't help but think about joe and aunt becky. He is mean to everyone but he loves his boys and he never left becky's side.
Could it be that aunt becky knows about Michael and Alex situation so well and she wants to let alex know so bad that michael loves her,because she too fell in love with her bully?
Could uncle joe be the one to help push these two knuckleheads together?

Michael, you chicken! lol We must not forget, they are teenagers and it's not that easy to express love when you feel it for the first time. Then you're scared how your loved one will react! Well, that never really changes, but it's harder the first time. And how would Alex really guess her bully of all people loves her truly, madly, deeply? She might sense the attraction n that a friendship is developing between them, but love is on another page! I loved the part of Michael meeting her father, making that promise, knowing that he actually already loved her then despite his young age. This adds so much more depth to the story n leaves me wanting more...as always. <3 Thumps up! :-D

Awww, that was rlly emotional what Aunt Becky said to Michael..
I’d kinda hoped that would make him see sense and find the balls to tell Alex how he feels already…Or at least finding that picture of her dad and remembering the promise he’d made him all those years ago would.
But again, he just chickened out :/
Alex is onto something though. If only she knew what it was..
On the other hand; it’s not like she has absolutely no idea how Michael feels about her after Katherine said too much in the park that day..
Maybe she just rlly doesn’t want him… or she’s confused even tho he’s been sending pretty obvious signals all over the place.
I don’t know anymore…Guess time will tell.
Or maybe Janet will swoop in and take charge again? Cuz they can’t keep playing around, acting like nothing’s going on when it’s so obvious to Everyone else that there is!
The chemistry between them is so real and he loves her so much and she’s finally beginning to trust him now.. What more do they need?
They belong together. It was love at first sight, well, particularly on Michael’s part ;D
It’s rlly getting about time. What if aunt Becky dies and can’t live to see the day where Michael finally gets over himself and loves Alex like she deserves to be loved and like he promised? That would be too sad!
They owe it to her and Mitchel, and of course themselves XD

That was sooo bittersweet, but I loved it! I could feel the thickness of the air and how everyone felt like being strangled until they lost the ability to breathe due to Joseph's strong charisma, them stepping back in fear. Very well written. I love how this story turned out and I hope that Alex now will develop a new level of understanding for Michael tho there's no excuse for laying hands on a woman like he did and the woman he loved at that. I still would love if they finally kissed. lol They are so sweet. And I find Michael's sweet, vulnerable and emotional side too adorable. Them getting together all of a sudden tho without this going back and forth a little longer is also not to be expected...I know! lol Cannot wait to read more. One of my faves. Keep up the good work, girl! Thank you! :)

I just LOVED the scene where Janet was teasing Michael and he got all embarrassed, trying to get her to shut up X’D
Everything was going so well and they all looked to be havin a great time so far, until Joseph came storming in… ;(
Smh. If that man can’t go about ruining all the fun, I swear to God…
His entrance was like a thunderstorm. I simply loathe him and the things he was sayin’ to Alex to try n give her a hard time.
Until Michael jumped to the defense…That was rlly sweet and brave of him, tho maybe he would’ve been better off not saying anything since it only served to piss Joseph off…
Alex wouldn’t just sit there and have it, though! Michael taught her well, even if again, maybe it would’ve been better if she didn’t cause I have a feeling Joseph was this close to causing her physical damage...
How sweet was that subtle, impulsive little move Michael made to hold her hand like that? I swear that made me all fuzzy inside, lol.
I’m pretty sure that had Joseph taken things any further and attempted to hurt Alex, Michael would’ve jumped up before her to take the punches!
Because he loves her that much.
Luckily though, Joseph kept his cool and left. The cozy atmosphere was officially killed but at least no one got hurt.
I wonder why Katherine didn’t say anything…Is she rlly that terrified of him? He doesn’t occasionally beat her up too, does he?
God, I hope not! And I certainly hope he won’t be around so much to kill the fun. Or maybe Alex, Janet and Michael can hang out in their rooms as often as possible when he’s home.

Wow, things sure took a turn for the unexpected with this update, didn’t they?
Girl, I was sitting here bitin’ my nails with fear when it all seemed so official that Alex was actually leaving!!
I was so hoping for somebody, ANYbody to magically pop outta that crowd in that hospital and tell her to STOP! In the name of love, lolol.
No but srsly! She couldn’t just LEAVE Michael and her friends behind like that! I’m so glad her uncle Jefferson made her see sense ;D
Just when I was starting to try and accept that it was all over before it rlly began and she was rlly leaving, there he came, saying the magic word.
Brilliant, girl! That gave me goosebumps all over!!
Oh Yay! She misses him. She totally loves him, too. She wants to see him… Poor Leonce, lol.
He just ain’t the one. It’s always been Michael. From the first glare her way all down to that earth-shattering, sweet, comforting hug he gave her in the hospital when she heard about her poor aunt.
Awww, I’m gonna miss Aunt Becky in this story! That scene in her hospital room was very emotional too when she thought Alex was Audrey! I’m so glad Katherine went in with her for moral support, too.
I wish Becky wouldn’t have to die but I guess what Katherine said was true; everything happens for a reason!
If God says it’s time then so be it! Good things will come of even such unfortunate situations in the long-run..
They kind of already have, since it led to Alex finally realizing how much she actually cares about Michael, even if she doesn’t quite know in what way yet..
You never know what you have till it’s gone, and that’s exactly what happened over here!
