She graduated at the top of her class and has already had jobs at two different salons. Still, she lives in a rough neighborhood in Seminole Heights and she has to drive a over an hour to get to the salon she works at Rudy's and Plinnie's. That alone,would be enough to make most people hang it up and get a job flipping burgers but not her. Krystal is determined to make a better life for herself. It's what her Grandma Carrol wanted for her. Krystal's Grandma had passed a year before from breast cancer and left Krystal the apartment she lived in. Krystal has to struggle everyday to make ends meet and on top of that her mom is a alcoholic.
