Poor Steph!!! And I always said jokingly that "Mike was doing the most at that time! He was on a date, Diana on his lap, recently divorced, had a baby on the way, and Lisa was still with him during HIStory your. Loved this story! We all saw how Steph cut eyes at Diana! Girl I 'hate' you....
For context I noticed post at 11pm my time read it and could picture every moment, which I honestly do believe did actually happen in real life, so curiosity and my notebook got me watching the 1996 WMAs again and I now noticed Steph looking like she didn't want to be there half the time and like she wouldn't mind clawing Di's eyes out because she was invisible to him in her presence. Knew Di was all over him that night but the eye contact was fire, if she said right here right now he would have said yes ma'am haha!
And then there is Lisa...so sad thay didn't work out but there was something magical there. I hated her at the time but now that I am older I appreciate her for everything she was to him, Diana too. His life was tough under constant microscope, in their respective ways for a time they completed him and made him feel the way a gentleman as perfect as we believe he was deserves to be treated, though never worked out it is better to have loved and lost than not loved at all. As for Steph....there is no way you can sing such lyrics without meaning them, she was glowing everytime he gave her attention and sulking anytime he didn't. If anything every went down between them =)
I 'hate' you because suddenly reading your chapter went from 11pm next thing I knew it was 3am....it intrigued me that much and led me to YouTube haha
I would personally like to thank you for this update, a masterpiece as always but the timing was perfect. Having a rough day took my mind off my reality and I feel so much better now but will never look at any of the ladies the same without a side eye hehe

Girrrrrrllllll I know how it is going down those rabbit holes. Lmaooooo that's how I got this story tbh. A clip on Twitter and I was like hmmmmmm. Lmaooooo. Yes ultimately I think he and Lisa did have something and I'm glad he got to expect the good that came from the relationship. It was definitely a rolller coaster. Still don't appreciate the disparaging stuff but it is what it is. As for Diana, I think there was something there that went beyond time. Leaving his children to her in a sense was a testament to that.
Let me tell you how I die laughing everytime I see that clip of Di sitting on Michael's lap and Steph staring daggers into that woman's back. Lmaooooo.
