It was so touching that Michael decided to face Lindsey's parents and told them the truth by himself. It showed that he deeply loves and cares for Lindsey. Thank you for the new chapter. I can't wait to read more.

What a sweet Christmas Mike and Lindsey had!

Michael manned up and went to her parents home!  What a man!  I hope that they will accept them. After all Lindsey is very happy with him! I think her dad will.  I wonder about her brother though!

Girl, the plot thickens!!!!! I'm now bout to whoop Derek for tryin to start some shit. Whoo, glad they got out of there before fools startes wreckin shop. Keep me posted girl! And P.S. Lindsey xid the righr and respectable thing in my opinion.

I'm so happy that Lindsey stood up for Michael. Derek is an asshole for wanting to ruin everyone's mood on Christmas. In the end it is her choice who she wants to be with, and hopefully her dad will be accepting of the situation.  Derek will surely still be trouble!

His mother will have talk to her husband and tell him he must admit that her daughter likes Michael. As for his brother he will have to be his father accpet that his sister likes Michael

I have to admit, if that were my sister I would have the same overprotective thoughts as Derek. However, what blows my mind is the fact he can't keep it to himself around small children at CHRISTMAS. Katie and the boys do not need their holiday ruined or to witness conflict. Derek needs to stop and think of the kids. It is also incredibly disrespectful to his parents and their home. I wonder if alcohol is partly to blame here. He is being completely irrational. I hope his parents tune him in. 

I don't blame Lindsey for leaving but she is going to need to face this the next day or the entire Christmas may be ruined. I think she owes it to her mother, who seems incredibly kind, to at least try. 

I also don't think she should be angry with Courtney. Of course she's going to tell her husband! I would tell mine too. He should have kept his mouth shut but I doubt he was trying to cause problems. Unfortunately Michael's past is exactly the type of information that refuses to stay secret, it is too "juicy" a piece of gossip I'm afraid. And it is reason for her family to be  concerned. 

Michael needs to be more forthcoming about his current career plans I'm afraid. By refusing to disclose any information he's only adding fuel to the fire of doubt they have about him. Their allegiance is to Lindsey and her best interests they have no reason to trust him. 

I just keep thinking of my sister. If she started dating a former prostitute I would not approve either, it would take time and effort for him to change my mind. 

Why couldn't Steve just keep a secret but Derek should've waited till after Christmas to get the truth

Hmm I think eventually her father will accept Michael after some thinking and listening to the whole story, the real problem is her brother he's hardest to accept Michael
