My goodness! I adore little 'Baylee Bee'! How creative were the parallels between Baylee at four and Michael at four? Both "artistic" would you say? I can't wait to know more about Kamaria ... and Kenny (although something tells me that he's not nice). Marley, it canNOT be helped girl. Your employer is TOO FINE! I tend to favor stories where Michael is Michael whether he's angelic or badly behaved (lol), but whenever I give a different type of story a chance; I admit that I love those Michael-like qualities: not smoking in front of the baby, blow kisses + peace sign and the other little goodies you threw in there. Yes often times through the story as you'll come to see I draw parallels of the past and the present. I think it makes the look back a little more cohesive with the now. I don't blame Marely either...Girl can you imagine. I would be a constant puddle at his feet everytime those pearly whites made an entrance. Gahhhhhhh!!!!
In my AU's I try to hold on to a lot of MIchael-like qualities. Some are more subdued and I ramp up some of his lesser seen qualities it just gives you a peek into "what if" <333

Ok so I'm a new reader! And I'm going to be honest usually I don't read alternate story's about Michael's life but this one is hands down the best I've read so far. If it were a TV series or a movie I'd probably watch it all day everyday, because it's just that good. The way you use your words it's almost as if it could be a TV series. I love how you say on the "next episode" cause that would describe it perfectly...I honestly don't know what to say next other than this whole thing has my mind on a whirlwind and I definitely can't wait for more...btw cause of you I find myself listening to Me & Mrs. Jones, Cruisin', and Blackbird a lot those are some great songs! Yes. It was a parallel in Marely and Michael's life. Mar's wasn't as drastic as Michael's but they both experienced a grave loss so they have that in common. As for Peter he's a POS for real. Marley is lucky to have seen his true colors. Now she has real love with Michael. Miracles are always possible. We will see. <333

Marley's dad is fiercely protective and I think he went above and beyond because he didn't get the chance to rip into Peter like he wanted to for slighting Marley so bad so he's taking extra precaution with Michael. He means no harm though.

Awe yes I remember you telling me that. This Michael is very sweet and stoic. It just lends to the fact that he's been through so much and he has his little one and now Marley to think about. He's not as harsh as when he was with Rhoda.
Michael knows there are other ways to grow their family for Marley though there's a sense of loss and being less of a woman not being able to give him any children but he's showed her otherwise.
Well Kenny is Kenny. He's a rat and as for the captain you'll find out soon what it is his involve not is.

I loved the way Michael reacted to Marley's revelation. Even though that scumbag Peter revealed her devastating secret, I'm glad Marley could count on Michael's love and affection for her to see her through. He is a sweetheart! And I appreciate his honesty. I'm glad he told her he was a bit disapppointed in the news but that he knows that their love is bigger than her inability to have a child!!

I enjoyed reading this chapter! It was relaxed me after reading the previous chapter. I admire Marley for giving Michael some space and asking if he's okay with what is transpiring around them. I was expecting Michael to just be alone, but I'm glad he allowed her to be intimate with him. I also admired them telling Baylee about about them making them officially a family. Great chapter, honey!
