And so the connection begins. No spark yet but they're both assessing the other. With the apology they can move forward with a fresh start.
Sigh day one of trail. I can't even say I can fathom what Michael was even feeling either real or fiction. It just rends my heart he had to go through any of that. Holding it together and with poise. I can only imagine he fell apart at the end of every day.
Now Jenna has the real starting point to kind of access how to approach Michael's story with more compassion. He is a man being slowly stripped of his humanity. If she does it right she could bring a semblance of it back.

And it does! I think it's like to primates who are very curious about one another. Clarity is such a refreshing thing and your very right that Jenna has that. I think those who are very critical of Michael during that time would have had such a different opinion of him and what he went through.
This was a very diffcult chapter to write, such an awful awful time. Yes! Hold it together, pretend somewhat to be unaffected or give them any type of satisfaction as to his suffering.
Yes Jenna definately has a place of focus! I think now there is a huge focal point that will introduce her to a more human emotional standpoint which was why I began the previous chapter; their first encounter so cold, there is now an upcoming huge contrast! and your right if she can do it sucessful it'll be beatiful however that is still up for debate!

Welcome back. I'm glad you're feeling well.
Paris' preceptions of her daddy's heartache was so touching. Geez I can't imagine the pain they're all going through. Michael is trying so hard to keep it together for his kids so the darkness doesn't touch them.
As for the interview. It was a bit cold. I understand that hard hitting questions are needed but like Michael said things where Vereing to a very tabloidesque place. His nerves where already very raw from his time with Paris so I can see why it was all upsetting for him. Let's hope the tone softens as time goes on.
I'm sure they will be growing closer over time.

Yes, there had to be some worry throughout that process. I never see it touched on so I figured it would be a refreshing raw standoint. Keeping it all together would be accurate in the depiction, it would be immensely difficult to keep all of those emotional outlets open to ensure strength for those other than yourself. parents are warriors in a sense.
It was, your very right, however theres a purpose for the coldness, I believe hard hitting questions give the public a perspective others have been so scared to cross in interviews, when trying to bring someone reputation back from the dead she figured go hard or go home haha and home wasn't an option. Softness is only the beginning of their interaction upcoming! Stay tuned!

I know I am so sorry, between a huge move and a really nasty illness and hospital stays, I'm doing so much better! I thank you for reading the chapter! I didn't desire to go too harsh, after all she's a nervous wreck and he's incredibly touchy. I really can't wait to showcase the dynamic of the interviewing and how it'll change throughout the story. And yes, often in fiction I never really see the children mentioned and there obviously had to be an impact at a time or another. But I'm so glad you picked up on the emotional intuition of Miss paris! More is on the way shortly! I've been working vigorously!!!! :D :D

I can't wait for the next chapter, Voice. I get that he is guarded and really wants no part in what Ron is setting up. I don't really care for Ron, he's trying too hard and is being way too pushy... From Michael's perspective it could go one of two ways, and since all his past interviews created such a shit storm, its no wonder he is on the backfoot already.
I wonder if he is going to be a bit petulant toward Jenna or if he is going to be so polite that she cannot get an authentic experience with him, making her job a lot harder. Or else, will he be kind-hearted, trusting, Michael that will show her a side of him that the world unfortunately hasn't been treated to?

I know the haptter is long ovver due haha I am so excited that I have the next five days off starting Thursday so there will be lots of writing and exploring the characters intensely! I'm ecited to ontinue and im glad your anxiously awaiting the chapter too! The love is imspirational and is my muse so thank you!!!!!! I am interested in your take on Ron! I love the fact you dislike him, im glad I can evoke that emotiona that it seems as though Ron is rushing into things and being extremely pushy. He's got Michael's best interest at heart or does he? I think you'll be pleasently surprised deeper in the chapters! I love it, means the characters are slightly 3 deminitional!
Michael's take on Jenna wlll ve one I wasn't expecting there are a lot of emotions rolled into one, and I believe this is where the rolleroaster truly begins. for right now, welcomed isn't exactly the word that comes to mind during chapter 4, though polite, the mask reveals a lot regardining the guard thrown so intensely. Qestions such as these make me ponder the direction of the story her and there so thank you for that!!! im super excitted to know what you may think of the next one!!
