The strangest story I have ever read, but it was so painstakenly beautiful and it really made me empathize with both characters. You are an incredible writer and just so great at capturing the essence of his pain. As twisted as it sounds, I'm happy that Michael's tormented soul was able to find "release", but I was also hoping for more insight into the older Michael's thoughts, as I felt that the POV was more focused on the younger Michael. I hope that there would be a sequel/second encounter coming soon.
