I got into Michael Jackson in May 2014 after hearing Madonna's "Like A Prayer" for the first time in my life. I'd heard of the song before, but had only ever heard the Spanish version of it and never thought about listening to the orginal. Heard the real version, listened to it...and then fell down the Youtube "related videos" hole which led me to watching every single MJ video in one day.
I've got something of an obsessive personality in that I get fixated on stuff really easily. I went from just casually watching MJ videos to reading his wiki entry, to reading the wiki entry on the court case, to watching Living With Michael, and then the rebuttal video, and then I suddenly found myself creeping on MJ-fan tumblr blogs and just totally obsessing and absorbing over this person who I was so stunned that I'd never really thought too much about before.
I'm endlessly fascinated with the man that was Michael Jackson. Writing stories is my way of filling in the holes of his life, I guess.
