Read so far without posting, but here's my two cents of wisdom: joan was terribly out of line at the party. She got drunk and there is nothing more disgusting and disgraceful than a drunken woman. Michael may have said some strong words, but they were fully justified. Joan as far as I can see is the one in the wrong and acting like a little queen for no reason.

Mike and James sure switched from good pre k buddies to enemies quick. I was like, well damn then. I can see where James is coming from. He's only looking out for his only sibling which all siblings do but damn his words were kidna hurtful especially the rehab part and allegations. As for Mike, obviously there's still some open wounds from the allegations being made and he feels some type of way about people bringing up his time in rehab and I can see that's he's trying to move on from that, but is tired of people bringing up past mistakes as if he doesn't know what he did. Honestly, I hate shit like that too.
Now as for him hiding something and Joan helping.....hmmm that's a tough one there. From what I see, I can't say that they're hiding something but that nighttime convo does sounds a little suspicious though.

They did switch quickly, it made both their girls heads spin! And yeah, James does have a point, he hasn't seen his sister in months and feels like Michael's life has played a role in that.
It makes since that Michael would be angry that James brought up the allegations, despite the settlement, its still a sensitive subject.
And yeahhhh that nightime convo was shady af. Nothing blatant but still.

He could've handled that a lot better. Janes does have a point i mean michael should be encouraging her to see her family and if they really dont like hik maybe they should work on that. He shouldn't have left, and stormed off he shouldve responded to james truthfully and maybe put some thought into what james told him. I dont think he was intentionally trying to jab him for the chandlers, i think he was trying to say hey my sis has been there for you but dont for a second think im gonna let you use her. I feel like hes using joan as an emotional crutch to get past it, and is shutting her out. He thinks therapy is a joke almost like he doesnt take fixing their relationship seriously enough.

You made some good points. Michael is definitelly using her as a crutch for what happened, and possibly taking advantage of it. He knows good and well she needs to be keeping contact with her family, especially if the mom is sick.
It is shady that Michael avoided James's question and walked out...definitely doesn't make him look innocent.

Hmmm i think dinner went nicely although Joan and Michael going down each other thoughts like they would normally do. It was genuinely nice.
And I never knew Joan had her apartment still. Well, like she said, Mike been had his other places before they met so why can't she have hers? Honestly, I just look at that as a way of being smart. What if something was to happen between them, she has a place to fall back on. But Michael shouldn't have a problem with her still having her apartment though.
It's good that she confided in Princess about the therapy and such, that way she wouldn't have to keep all thats happening bottled up. As for Michael, I'm doubting just a little bit not too too much but a little that he would being that James is Joan's brother. I guess we'll see in the next chapter.

Ok ya hes being a complete dick.he has this god complex shit mindset where he thinks he can do no wrong and cant accept responsibility for his actions. Then in the shower all hes thinking about is how much he likes how big her breasts are while shes pregnant again only thinking about himself and how horny he is.
