Oh no... Charlie's death really did a number on him. Now he's whoring around without a care in the world!

As for Journie, I like that she's turned her life around and has started anew. And I can only imagine how these 2 will react once they know of each other and their connection to Charlie!

It's beautiful. I'm a writer myself and you just don't know how much I usually refuse to read fanfictions because most authors don't use the language to create beauty they just use words to get to the "wanted point" as soon as possible. But you're creating beauty. They way you express the feelings, the fact that you bother describing the environment, everything they got around and with what they can interact like the sky and the stars or even not being able to type on a phoe, that makes it realistic, you know? I think it's the best you could do and I wish you keep on with this because I really want to read this story and that happens to me once in 1000 moons ;)
