WOW. This shattered my heart, but it was so beautiful. Your writing style is hypnotizing! I'm not even gonna lie, I got a little teary eyed while reading it. I thought that it was the sweetest thing in the world that he'd come back to check on her (you?) and told her that she would be okay. It sounds just like something he would do. I loved it.
