Vague series description:

This is a story of growth, learning, love, over coming life's obstacles and, of course, strength and courage. It is a story of what could have happened, if only Michael had been dealt a different hand, or maybe played the hand he was dealt differently. Now that he has passed away, it seems only fair to give him some of the happiness and security that he missed out on during his life.

As this is AU, some thing that happened in real life take place in different settings, the order of events has shifted, or simply cease to exist because the path the characters take lead them away, and certain actions are not undertaken, leaving the subsequent reactions void. I hope that makes sense to everyone... It barely made sense to me. Lol. I have tried to make this as realistic as possible, and steer it away from the inevitable soap opera route, but as we all know Michaels life was full of drama one way or another, so expect drama here and some angst, as well as fluff. Plenty of fluff. We like fluff.
